Children and Teens

It is in playing and only in playing that the individual child or adult is able to be creative and to use the whole personality, and it is only in being creative that the individual discovers the self.

I specialize in working with children, teenagers, and their families. I am committed to fostering genuine connections and providing compassionate support, making the therapeutic relationship the cornerstone of our work.

My therapeutic approach is grounded in compassion-focused therapy, with a strong emphasis on understanding each child’s strengths, unique needs, and experiences. I firmly believe that healing begins within a trusting therapeutic relationship, where children and teens can freely express themselves.

In my sessions, your child or teenager will find a safe, nonjudgmental space where they can explore and make sense of their thoughts and emotions. Drawing from my background in the arts, I often incorporate creative, art, and play-centered techniques to help your child or teen access and process emotions that may be challenging to express verbally.

My training in early childhood development, family systems, and attachment theory allows me to explore the dynamics of family relationships and their impact on current experiences. I specialize in supporting teenagers with ADHD struggling with relaltionships, eating disorders, executive functioning challenges, and various life transitions.

I am here to guide and support your child or teenager on their journey to self-discovery, resilience, and well-being. If you are seeking a compassionate therapist who values the uniqueness of each individual, I invite you to reach out. Together, we can navigate their path to growth and self-acceptance.
