Approach

My approach as a therapist is compassionate, direct, non-judgmental, and creative.  My role as your therapist is to help empower yourself to change, to hold space for you as you learn to heal yourself. We do this by working together to gain awareness into your unconscious patterns, learn to self-soothe, heal emotionally, and fully embody your authentic self.   In sessions, I provide a safe containing space to help you process your feelings and learn to cope with painful thoughts and emotions.

While therapy can be challenging at times, I believe that the most successful outcomes come from those who are self-motivated and committed to their own growth. I work with clients of all genders, sexual preferences, and cultural backgrounds, including individuals, couples, and groups. Therapy is not about me telling you what to do, but about us exploring your feelings, learning to tolerate those feelings, while helping you gain confidence, and feel empowered in making decisions for yourself.

Therapy is a collaborative effort, and my ideal client is someone who is committed to the therapeutic process, willing to engage in self-reflection and exploration, and open to working with a therapist who emphasizes insight, personal growth, and the healing of psychological wounds.
