FAQ’S

What is Therapy? What will our sessions be like?

The word "psychotherapy" originates from the Greek "psyche" (soul) and "therapeia" (healing) - literally meaning "soul healing." This ancient understanding reflects my approach to therapy as a sacred journey of wholeness and integration.

As a therapist, I work holistically which means, I see you as a whole person, weaving in the spiritual with the mind and body connection. I blend traditional psychotherapy with somatic approaches to help you create lasting transformation. My philosophy centers on the belief that true healing comes from within - my role is to hold space and guide you as you awaken your natural capacity to heal yourself.

What is your fee for psychotherapy?

My current fee is $200 per 50 minute individual session.

Do you take insurance?

I am not contracted with any insurance company. I am an out-of-network-provider, and am able to provide a superbill that you may submit to your insurance for reimbursement.

Do you offer a sliding scale?

Yes, I offer a limited number of sliding scale spots for those who cannot afford the full fee.

What is your cancellation policy?

I require 48 hours notice for session cancellations. If I receive less than 48 hours notice, you will be charged for the missed session. Exceptions to this include medical emergencies, and situations in which we are able to reschedule within the week (pending session availability).

Do you offer phone or video appointments?

For the time being I am only providing audio and/or telehealth video appointments.

Are you available after-hours?

You may send me emails 24-hours a day; I will usually respond within 1-2 business days.
