<image:caption>AUTOIMMUNE ISSUES Living with a chronic autoimmune disease can be a challenging experience, both physically and emotionally. As someone who has experienced this firsthand, I understand the difficulties that come with managing chronic illness. I am passionate about helping clients who struggle with autoimmune diseases cope with navigating the complex landscape of chronic illness. My approach is grounded in the belief that healing is a collaborative process, and that the power of community and connection can be transformative. I work with clients who have been diagnosed with autoimmune diseases helping them learn to develop a deeper understanding of their bodies, minds, and spirits. In our work together, we learn to cultivate a sense of empowerment and resilience in the face of illness. We explore ways to engage with the body that feel safe. Through a combination of somatic, psychodynamic, and mindfulness based approaches, I help my clients with autoimmune diseases explore the emotional and psychological dimensions of their illness. I believe in the importance of supporting the whole person, and I work with clients to develop strategies for managing physical symptoms, coping with stress, and cultivating a sense of meaning and purpose in their lives. If you are struggling with an autoimmune disease, I'm here to listen, and support you on your healing journey. Together, we can cultivate resilience and empowerment, and help you thrive in the face of chronic illness.</image:caption>

<image:title>FAQ - FAQ’S</image:title>
<image:caption>What is Therapy? What will our sessions be like? The word "psychotherapy" originates from the Greek "psyche" (soul) and "therapeia" (healing) - literally meaning "soul healing." This ancient understanding reflects my approach to therapy as a sacred journey of wholeness and integration. As a therapist, I work holistically which means, I see you as a whole person, weaving in the spiritual with the mind and body connection. I blend traditional psychotherapy with somatic approaches to help you create lasting transformation. My philosophy centers on the belief that true healing comes from within - my role is to hold space and guide you as you awaken your natural capacity to heal yourself. What is your fee for psychotherapy? My current fee is $200 per 50 minute individual session. Do you take insurance? I am not contracted with any insurance company. I am an out-of-network-provider, and am able to provide a superbill that you may submit to your insurance for reimbursement. Do you offer a sliding scale? Yes, I offer a limited number of sliding scale spots for those who cannot afford the full fee. What is your cancellation policy? I require 48 hours notice for session cancellations. If I receive less than 48 hours notice, you will be charged for the missed session. Exceptions to this include medical emergencies, and situations in which we are able to reschedule within the week (pending session availability). Do you offer phone or video appointments? For the time being I am only providing audio and/or telehealth video appointments. Do you work with clients from outside of California? As an AMFT licensed in the State of California, I only work with clients who also reside in California. Are you available after-hours? You may send me emails 24-hours a day; I will usually respond within 1-2 business days.</image:caption>

<image:title>Specializations - 'Until you make the unconscious conscious, it will direct your life and you will call it fate.' -Carl Jung</image:title>
<image:caption>I offer specialized therapeutic support across several interconnected areas, each approached with depth, understanding, and evidence-based practices: Trauma Recovery & Healing "Trauma creates change you don't choose. Healing is about creating change you do choose." -Marion Woodman Through a blend of psychodynamic therapy, somatic practices, and EMDR, I help clients process trauma and find safety in the present moment. My trauma-informed approach creates a gentle pathway to healing, helping you reconnect with your body and rebuild a sense of safety and empowerment. Eating Disorders & Body Connection: Using an integration of psychodynamic and somatic approaches, I support clients in healing their relationship with food and body. Together, we explore the deeper patterns and unconscious dynamics that influence disordered eating, working to create a support system, lasting recovery and self-understanding. Chronic Illness & Autoimmune Support: As someone with personal experience navigating chronic illness, I understand the unique challenges of living with autoimmune conditions. Our work together focuses on developing coping strategies, finding meaning amid health challenges, and building resilience while honoring your body's needs. Spiritual Growth & Dream Exploration: Psychotherapy literally means "soul healing," and I honor this original meaning in my practice. For clients interested in deeper spiritual work, I offer dream analysis, creative visualization practices, and exploration of the unconscious, helping you integrate spirituality into your healing journey. This work is particularly suited for those in healing professions or on a path of spiritual development. Addictions: I approach addiction as a symptom of deeper disconnection rather than a moral failing. Through our work together, we will explore the root causes of addictive patterns while developing practical tools for recovery. My approach combines psychological insight with practical support, helping you build a meaningful life beyond addiction. Across all specialties, I integrate: Traditional psychodynamic therapy Somatic awareness and body-based healing EMDR for trauma processing Mindfulness practices Dream work (when appropriate) Every client's journey is unique, and I tailor my approach to meet your specific needs and goals.</image:caption>

<image:title>Chronic Autoimmune Diseases - Autoimmune Issues</image:title>
<image:caption>Living with a chronic autoimmune disease can be a challenging experience, both physically and emotionally.

<image:caption>Therapy is an alchemical process of self-discovery, guiding us into the depths of our unconscious to reclaim forgotten aspects of ourselves. As we bring these hidden parts into consciousness, we bridge the gap between our inner and outer worlds, awakening to our authentic nature. This journey extends beyond symptom relief, inviting us to become more whole and integrated beings. Dreams serve as profound messengers from the unconscious, speaking through symbols and images that illuminate our inner landscape. Following Carl Jung's wisdom, I honor dreamwork as a powerful gateway to self-understanding and transformation. Through careful attention to these night-time messages, we access deeper layers of meaning and personal truth. I specialize in working with: Spiritual seekers and practitioners Healing arts professionals Those exploring mystical or transcendent experiences Individuals navigating spiritual awakenings My approach honors the sacred dimension of human experience. Rather than pathologizing spiritual experiences, I create space for diverse beliefs and practices, blending them mindfully into our therapeutic work. This cultural sensitivity allows for authentic exploration of your unique spiritual path. Our work together integrates: Jungian depth psychology Dream analysis and symbolic understanding Psychodynamic approaches Spiritual awareness and integration Body-centered practices Community and relational healing I believe healing emerges through collaborative exploration of body, mind, and spirit. Together, we will: Decode the wisdom of your dreams Honor your spiritual and cultural experiences and beliefs Cultivate deeper self-understanding Strengthen your connection to inner guidance Build resilience and emotional capacity Align with your authentic purpose If you seek a therapeutic space that honors both psychological depth and spiritual dimensions, I invite you to begin this transformative journey.</image:caption>

<image:title>Addictions - Addictions</image:title>
<image:caption>Addiction is a complex journey that touches not just individuals, but entire families and communities. As an addiction specialist, I understand that addiction extends far beyond physical dependence or moral challenges - it often emerges as a symptom of disconnection from self and others. My approach recognizes that addiction typically signals deeper underlying issues, such as trauma, emotional pain, or unmet needs. Through therapeutic exploration, we focus on understanding these root causes, fostering self-awareness and genuine healing. I integrate Jungian and psychodynamic approaches, drawing inspiration from psychologists Marion Woodman and James Hillman. This framework helps us understand addiction as a complex response to profound human experiences - feelings of disconnection, loneliness, or past trauma that we attempt to soothe through substances or behaviors. In our work together, you will: Explore unconscious patterns in a safe, non-judgmental space Understand the deeper meanings behind addictive behaviors Develop practical tools for sustainable recovery Connect with your authentic self and inner wisdom Build resilience and self-compassion Create meaningful relationships and community connections I believe that true healing extends beyond abstinence or willpower alone. Recovery flourishes through a holistic approach that honors your unique story and innate capacity to heal. Together, we will craft a personalized treatment journey that may include individual therapy, 12 step group work, or other modalities suited to your needs. Our goal is not just freedom from addiction, but the discovery of a life filled with purpose and genuine connection. This transformation emerges through the integration of therapeutic support, community engagement, and profound self-discovery. If you or someone you care about is navigating addiction, know that healing is possible. The path to recovery begins with a single step - reaching out. I invite you to connect and explore how we can work together toward lasting transformation.</image:caption>

<image:title>Trauma and EMDR - Trauma</image:title>
<image:caption>"Trauma creates change you don't choose. Healing is about creating change you do choose." -Marion Woodman Trauma leaves an imprint on both the mind and body,, affecting every dimension of our being - from our closest relationships to our deepest sense of self. Its echoes can persist in our bodies, minds, and daily experiences, creating patterns that may feel impossible to shift. Like being caught in a haunted house where the past continuously plays out in the present, we might find ourselves unconsciously repeating old protective patterns even when the original danger has passed. Yet, I have witnessed the profound possibility of healing from trauma. Through dedicated therapeutic work, we can transform these wounds into sources of strength and wisdom. My commitment is to create a sanctuary where your story can unfold at its own pace, held in deep compassion and understanding. My trauma-focused approach integrates: Psychodynamic depth work Somatic awareness practices Mindfulness-based techniques EMDR therapy (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) Trauma-informed care principles EMDR serves as a powerful gateway to healing, using bilateral stimulation to help your brain find safety in the present moment. This gentle yet effective approach supports the natural processing of traumatic experiences, allowing for deep and lasting transformation. Together we will: Establish a foundation of safety and trust Develop resources for emotional regulation Reconnect with your body's wisdom Process traumatic experiences at your own pace Strengthen your capacity for joy and aliveness Reclaim your sense of empowerment and choice Our work focuses not just on healing past wounds, but on cultivating a renewed sense of possibility and vitality. Through this journey, you can discover a deeper connection to yourself and a more embodied way of being in the world. If you feel ready to begin this healing journey, I invite you to reach out. Your path to recovery begins with a single step, and I am here to walk beside you.</image:caption>
